With a wealth of knowledge and experience built on over 20 years in the industry, Ian founded his independent business, Scuff and Scratch Busters, in 2011, following a period of 5 years owning a successful Franchise.
Prior to his Franchise, Ian spent 17 years in Garage Body Shops completing major accident repair work, and a further 3 years at Peugeot Ryton factory carrying out paintless dent removal on vehicles post production.
From leaving School, Ian served his apprenticeship in City & Guilds Car Body Repair with Paynes Garages of Hinckley gaining extensive knowledge of car panel repair on all types of vehicles. This has given him an excellent grounding on all aspects of vehicle body repairs.
It is because of this knowledge and experience that Ian is confident and capable of completing bigger than average SMART* repairs. Ian can repair some jobs which are outside the capabilities of other SMART* repairers.
